Customs duties
A customs limit or duty-free limit is a limit on the value and / or weight of goods that can be received from abroad without paying customs duties. Duty-free rules differ from country to country.
- Limit for Russia
The permissible customs limit for one individual from March 31, 2022 is 1000 euros and 31 kg per parcel (or several parcels, if they go through customs at the same time, on one day). If the duty-free threshold is exceeded, it will be necessary to pay a duty of 15% of the excess amount plus an additional customs duty of 500 rubles, or 2 euros per 1 kg of weight in terms of excess weight, depending on which amount is more. There is no more customs limit on parcels sent in total in one calendar month or another period.
- Limit for Ukraine
Duty-free in international mail can be sent goods whose total value does not exceed 100 euros. Upon receipt of a parcel worth more than 100 euros, VAT 20% is charged, and if the value of the parcel exceeds 150 euros, an import tax of 10% + VAT 20% is charged on the amount exceeding the duty-free limit.
