Soft, well-balanced, and full-bodied, this light roast accentuates the best qualities of the blend of beans and makes for an ideal morning cup. This is a 'sophisticated' blend that will maintain its flavor from start to finish.
Made from a special house blend of Central and Western Valley arabica beans, this light roasted coffee has noticeable fruity and floral notes. Because the Central Valley's beans are grown at high altitudes, they are higher in acidity - a quality that brings out the best aromatic characteristics of a coffee. For this reason, you will notice an aroma of freshly sliced limes that is coupled with a tart acidity upon the first sip. The flavor notes include caramel and apricot and even sometimes a hint of malt.

Our Breakfast Blend is a one-of-a-kind, limited edition coffee. This coffee is a direct result of listening to our customers and crafting the ideal morning blend. After hearing from coffee lovers, we created and roasted with care specially selected batches from two different regions, Tarrazú and Tres Ríos. Each of these batches has one thing in common: the beans were carefully picked during harvest peak and meticulously processed afterwards.

Café Britt started the way most of our days do: with the search for great coffee. Although Costa Rica has been producing some of the world’s best coffee for more than one hundred years, before Britt, all gourmet coffee was exported. Costa Ricans and visitors to the country only had access to the lower-quality beans reserved for domestic consumption. But where many people would have seen a barrier, Café Britt saw an opportunity.
Fast forward more than thirty years, and Café Britt not only roasts the best coffee from Costa Rica, but also from Perú, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. With fewer than 350 employees, we are dedicated to continuously improve and innovate our product line, which currently has more than 500 gourmet products including coffee, chocolate, and cookies. We are particularly proud of our reputation as a socially and environmentally responsible company, focusing on the well-being of our employees, our community, and the environment.
